Orphanage Children Bring Purim Joy to Seniors at Mishpacha Nursing Home

This week, the halls of Mishpacha Nursing Home came alive with laughter and music as children from Mishpacha Orphanage arrived to celebrate Purim with the elderly residents. Dressed in colorful costumes and full of energy, the children’s excitement quickly filled the space, spreading joy throughout the home.

The children sang classic Purim songs, handed out beautifully wrapped Mishloach Manot, and spent time chatting with the seniors. The room was filled with smiles and laughter as residents clapped along to the music, tapped their feet, and even joined in the singing.

In the days leading up to the visit, the children had been eagerly practicing their songs and putting together gift baskets. Their presence had a transformative effect on the nursing home, bringing even the more reserved residents out of their shells and into the festivities.

This collaboration between the different branches of Mishpacha is a beautiful reminder of the importance of human connection. The children found kind, attentive listeners, while the seniors enjoyed the energy and warmth of youthful companionship.
