Dear Friend,

In the midst of the High Holidays, we find ourselves looking to the year ahead with a sense of cautious optimism and hope. We long for a brighter future and we beseech G-d to shower us with blessings, answer our every prayer, and sign us in the Book of Life.

At Mishpacha Children’s Home, our children are also seeking hope. These orphans, who have endured unimaginable trauma, dream of rebuilding their lives with dignity and opportunity. Now at the start of the year, we are focused on collecting funds to provide them with everything they need for a healthy and happy year ahead.

Our goal is to ensure that every child in our care has what they need—not luxuries, but the basics that allow them to live with pride and confidence. This includes nourishing meals, warm clothing and shoes for the changing season, and a Jewish education that nurtures their hearts and minds. These are the small but vital essentials that will make the holidays special and help them feel secure all year long.

We also care for vulnerable elderly members of our community who deserve the same compassion. They too need essentials like medical care, support, and companionship. Together, we can make sure that no one feels forgotten during these days of prayers for blessings in the year ahead.

Mishpacha provides vital support to hundreds of Ukrainian Jewish orphans and elderly. The financial burden is great, especially as we continue to allocate resources toward lifesaving needs like bomb shelters due to the ongoing war. However, these precious souls deserve more than mere survival—they deserve to truly thrive.

These children and elderly rely on us to be a conduit for their blessings in the year ahead. Can we rely on your compassion? Your generous donation will ensure that they receive the clothing, shoes, food, and other necessities they need to feel secure, loved, and cared for.

At the start of the new year, your support can promise the children and elderly of Mishpacha a brighter future, with blessings that will last a lifetime. Let’s work together to give them the opportunities they deserve after all the pain they’ve endured.

In the merit of your support, may you and yours be inscribed for a New Year full of revealed blessings, abundant health, and the profound joy of knowing that you have made a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.

With blessings for a happy, healthy, and sweet new year,
