Mega Challah Bake and Bat Mitzvah Celebrations

An unforgettable evening unfolded in Odessa, where the warmth of a Mega Challah Bake beautifully intertwined with a Bat Mitzvah celebration for the girls of Mishpacha Orphanage.

The event began with a heartfelt dance performance by the students, set to the inspiring song “Ani Maamin,” performed by Sarah Zholudeva and Adina Vasilchuk.

The Bat Mitzvah girls, having completed their preparation course, were honored with certificates, commemorative gifts, and the opportunity to share a D’var Torah. Rebbetzin Chaya Wolf led a dough-making workshop, delving into the deep spiritual and cultural significance of Challah in Jewish tradition.

The evening continued with a series of enriching performances, including a soulful rendition by Sonia Shapiro, a dance by the “Osher” collective, and an interactive game exploring the pivotal role of Jewish women throughout history. A particularly touching moment was the joint prayer session, where women gathered together in a powerful expression of faith and unity.

The celebration concluded with lively dancing, leaving everyone with a sense of joy, connection, and community.
