A Full Afternoon of Sukkot Fun

Students and their parents gathered for Simchat Beit HaShoeva, spending the afternoon immersed in the spirit of Sukkot. They shook the lulav and etrog, enjoyed Sukkot-themed activities, and finished the celebration with drumming and dancing.

The program began with words from Rabbi Itamar, who shared a Sukkot story with the families gathered around the tables. An interactive game followed, and children and parents had the chance to shake the lulav and etrog and take part in the mitzvah of the holiday.

From there, the children spread out among activity stations throughout the sukkah. At the craft table, they decorated their own tambourines, choosing colors and adding personal touches. Nearby, another group answered questions about Sukkot before taking part in a sukkah-building competition.

At the Master Chef station, the children worked with fresh ingredients to assemble poke bowls and sushi salad, then proudly showed off what they had made.

Later, drumming and rhythm activities brought the group back together. Soon the children were on their feet dancing in colorful costumes as the celebration continued.

Parents joined in throughout the afternoon, sitting with their children and sharing in the activities.

A heartfelt thank you to Rabbi Itamar and the staff for making this Simchat Beit HaShoeva such a memorable part of Sukkot for our students and their families.
