Students, families, and teachers gathered for the Last Bell ceremony to celebrate the end of the school year and honor the achievements of the graduating classes. Awards, performances, and a special presentation from the graduates brought another successful school year to a close.
The community came together to celebrate the Last Bell of the school year, honoring students in the 4th, 9th, and 11th grades as they completed another year of learning, growth, and achievement.
The event opened with a special blessing from Rabbi Avraham Wolff, who wished the students a joyful summer. He encouraged them to cherish every moment of their vacation, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the teachers whose dedication guides the children throughout the year.
A special highlight of the day was the visit of Israel’s Ambassador to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky. Addressing the students and educators, he congratulated them on completing the school year and shared words of encouragement with the graduates as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives. He also spoke about the enduring friendship between Israel and Ukraine, inspiring the students with a message of connection and hope.
Throughout the ceremony, outstanding students were recognized for their academic achievements, and the audience enjoyed a dance performance prepared by the students. One of the most moving moments came when the graduates took the stage carrying symbolic suitcases. One by one, they filled them with everything they were taking from their school years: knowledge, Jewish values, experiences, friendships, and memories. The graduates also expressed their gratitude to the parents, teachers, mentors, and friends who helped guide them along the way.
As the celebration came to a close, everyone exchanged warm wishes for a healthy, safe, and joyful summer. The students will return in September with new energy, ready for another year of learning, growth, and achievement.
