A Brighter Summer Begins with You

The Summer Camp Fund

Summer camp is more than fun for the children of Mishpacha Children’s Home—it’s healing. After facing abandonment, loss, and hardship, these children deserve the chance to simply be kids in a safe, joyful environment. Your generosity today will provide them with the opportunity to go to camp where they’ll build friendships, confidence, and memories that last a lifetime.

Dear Friend,

Picture this: a child who has never experienced the security of a traditional family suddenly finds themselves part of a cabin family, sharing stories and laughter late into the night. Another discovers they’re braver than they ever imagined as they navigate a ropes course or perform in a talent show in front of the entire camp.

For the children at Mishpacha Children’s Home, these moments aren’t just fun, they’re transformative experiences that show them new possibilities for connection, courage, and belonging.

Summer camp offers something uniquely powerful for children who’ve faced early hardships. Many have been abandoned, abused, or orphaned—and carry the weight of those experiences every day. They’ve shown incredible resilience, but they shouldn’t have to be strong all the time. What they long for most is the chance to simply be kids. Camp gives them that gift: a safe, joyful space to laugh freely, build lasting friendships, and create memories that shine for a lifetime.

123 children are still waiting to find out if they’ll get to go to camp.

With your help, they can.

At camp, our children:

  • Build confidence through various activities, like sports and crafts
  • Form friendships that ease years of loneliness
  • Develop essential skills, from teamwork to leadership
  • Strengthen Jewish identity and grow emotionally and spiritually

Camp begins soon. Will you help us give this gift in time?

Let’s show these children that they are not forgotten. That they are valued. That they are deserving of every childhood joy.

Thank you for being the reason they believe in brighter days.

With deepest gratitude,
